Meet The Artist

Bringing a modern edge to classic country, Wyatt Harlan blends honest storytelling with a sound that feels equally at home in a smoky bar or a packed arena. His songs explore love, heartbreak, whiskey, bad decisions and the moments that leave a mark. With his distinctive style and unmistakable presence, Wyatt has carved out an identity that is entirely his own. In this exclusive SR3 Records interview, we sit down with Wyatt to talk about his stories, his thoughts and the man behind the songs.

Finding His Sound

Why did you throw away a 15-song album and an EP?

It just felt like everyone else, and I didn’t want to put something out that didn’t feel like me.

What changed when you came to SR3?

They basically just said, ‘Do your thing,’ and that gave me the freedom to find my sound.

Life On The Road

What do you love most about performing live?

Getting somebody who didn’t know my music into it is a pretty damn good feeling.

What have you learned from playing Nashville and touring?

In Nashville you gotta work your ass off to get a reaction, and I learned pretty quick that you gotta be tight.

The Road To Music

What finally made you take music seriously at 30?

I’d spent years working dead-end jobs, then in 2017 I’d had enough and decided to finally do something with the songs in my head.

No Regrets

Would you change anything about the road that got you here?

Nah, even the Tessa stuff got me to where I am, so I probably wouldn’t change any of it.
